Trial is expected to take three days for a Coralville man accused of breaking into a home and sexually assaulting a teenager.

That’s according to Judge Andrew Chappell, who made the determination Friday during a case management conference for 36-year-old Terrence White of 5th Street.

White’s trial is scheduled to begin on March 19th.

Police say White broke into an Iowa City home in September 2017 and assaulted a 15-year-old, allegedly touching her breasts and butt before pushing her onto a bed and forcing her to perform a sex act.

White wasn’t arrested until May of 2018, when he was found to be driving with a revoked license on 1st Avenue. His license had been revoked for an Operating While Intoxicated arrest in Linn County in March of last year.

White faces two counts of 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse and one of Lascivious Acts with a Child. If convicted on all charges, he could be sentenced to up to 30 years in prison.

Another case management conference is set for March 11th.
