KCRG reports woman and dog escaped prior to firefighter arrival

Fire officials say no one was hurt following a fire at a Solon home.
KCRG reports crews were called to 404 Serenity Court on Wednesday afternoon, finding smoke and flames coming from the residence. Officials told the TV station a woman and her dog had escaped the blaze prior to their arrival and there is no indication any firefighters were injured fighting the fire.
Multiple departments responded to the home on Solon’s far northwest side.
A cause and damage estimate are still being determined.
