UI Police schedule bike registration events for students and staff over the summer

University of Iowa Police Department news release

The UI Police Department has teamed up with Hospital Safety and Security to host a series of bike registration events on the UI Health Care University Campus.

Registering your bike makes it easier for you to file a police report if your bike is stolen, and easier for law enforcement to return it to you if it is located.

Those interested in registering their bike should mark their calendars and bring their bike to and upcoming event. Please be prepared to present your employee or student ID. These events are open to all students, faculty, and staff.

  • July 17, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., Bike Racks, For the Kids Way
  • Aug. 12, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Bike Racks, For the Kids Way
  • Sept. 10, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Bike Racks, For the Kids Way

If you can’t make it to an event, but would like to register your bike, you can start the process using the campus Bike Index link.
