Former University of Iowa pitcher Ty Langenberg is scheduled to make his home debut with the Cedar Rapids Kernels Saturday night.
Langenberg won his debut with the team in a 9-8 victory in Lansing last Sunday. The Hawkeye alum threw five innings, allowing three earned runs on three hits while striking out seven with three walks.
Saturday night’s game against Peoria starts at 6:35, although there are thunderstorms in the forecast.
