An Iowa City woman was arrested Sunday night when it was discovered that she was driving despite several court orders preventing her from doing so.

45-year-old Natalie Roberts of Middlebury Road was stopped near the intersection of Lucas and Brown streets at approximately 8:50 pm because the officer on patrol knew her driving privileges were not valid.

A check of her records showed that Roberts had several withdrawals on her record, including:
Barred for being an habitual offender until February 2025
Revoked for OWI conviction until January 2028
Suspended indefinitely for non-payment of fines
Suspended for no insurance until May 2027
Suspended for violation of probation until April 2025
Canceled and not entitled to issuance again until January 2028

Roberts was taken into custody. Among the charges were driving while revoked and driving while barred, which are punishable by a combined maximum jail sentence of three years if convicted.
