Former Hawkeye pitcher Ty Langenberg is scheduled to make his Cedar Rapids Kernels debut today.
The right-hander was promoted Tuesday from low-Class A Fort Myers to high-Class A Cedar Rapids. Langenberg was 3-3 in Fort Myers with a 3.38 ERA in nine starts, including going 3-0 in his last five.
The Kernels are in Lansing today to take on the Lugnuts, with Langenberg listed as the starting pitcher. Game time is set for 12:05 p.m. You can stream the game live on the official Kernels web site.
