A Cedar Rapids home suffered moderate damage in a Sunday afternoon fire.
According to a release from the Cedar Rapids Fire Department, crews were dispatched to the 100 block of Devonwood Avenue Southwest at approximately 12:15 pm on reports of a bedroom on fire.
Arriving firefighters found smoke coming from the rear of the house and were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
An adult and two children were home at the time of the incident, but no injuries were reported. The home suffered moderate damage, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
