Iowa City Animal Services received a report of a dog bite this morning.
According to a release from the City, the bite occurred around 9:30 a.m. in the 1300 Block of Teg Drive. The dog is described as having a medium to large build, short coat, black face and brown body. The attacking dog was with a second dog with a medium build and black coat. Both dogs were being walked on leashes by an older white man.
Iowa City Animal Services is seeking information on the rabies vaccination status of the dog. If anyone has any information, they are encouraged to contact Iowa City Animal Services directly at 319-356-5295 or the Iowa City Police Department at 319-356-6800.
